Nails

I finally got around to filing my finger nails and then I gave them a polish using a 4 way buffing pad. The overall effect is good, but it’s tricky getting it to work near the cuticle. The pad is just to chunky to reach these areas.

My toe nails need doing and I had planned to do them this evening. It looks unlikely now though as son “C” is bringing his girlfriend over and we are having a Chinese take-away to celebrate his 19th birthday. He seems to be feeling a bit better today. Son “S” is still suffering though, so I doubt he will join us.

Hair

“G” and I went to do the weekly shopping. I was very good and selected fresh fruit and vegetables. I want to try and eat a healthier diet. It will generally do me good and I need to lose that belly. In bloke mode it is acceptable to have a beer belly, but it looks horrible in a skirt!

I am also considering growing my hair long after years of shaving the lot off. I have bought some conditioner for the first time in years. I don’t usually use it when my hair is short.

I also bought some whitening tooth paste to help get rid of the nicotine stains. I was looking for a bleaching kit, but they did not seem to have them.

Being “trans” seems to be improving my life on all fronts at the moment. I am less depressed and I even want to take care of myself better since I came out about my deeply suppressed feelings.

Lippy Test

I woke up early this morning. I don’t quite know why but I find when I wear my chemise to bed I often sleep better. It must be in my head as once I am asleep I am obvious to the fact that I am wearing it.

I got up and went down stairs wearing just chemise and knickers. I could not be bothered to put my dressing gown and slippers on. I turned on the central heating and I checked the front room to see if son “C” and/or his girlfriend  were in there. They were not. At least I did not have to face them in my chemise, but where did they stay last night?

I went back to bed for a while to give the central heating time to kick in. After about 15 minutes I got up and took my colour cards and my neutral lips liner and gloss to the bath room.

I lined the lips and filled in with the pencil. Then I blended the lips with a finger. Next I applied the lip gloss and dabbed off the excess with a tissue. I was quite impressed with it despite my stubble.

I tried on “G’s” blouse for size and it looked odd over my chemise. So, I put on a skirt and shoes. Then I heard footsteps on the landing. The door was ajar so I gently pushed it too. Later I asked who it was and it had been “G”. Seeing the door closed I guess she knew I was in girls clothes and opted not to enter the room.

The blouse was too loose on “G”. It fits me fine suggesting that its just a bit on the large side for a size 18. I should bye a 20. She would probably be okay with a size 16 and it might look better fitted. I also tried on my double V top again. I love the style but, I think its a bit too tight and it clings. It only cost £8.00 though and it would cost me more than that in fuel to take it back. I might put it in the van so next time I go to Bury St Edmunds on business I can get my money back. Then again I might just keep it and see how it looks with a bra and “Chicken fillets” the nick name given to them invisible enhancing bra’s. I could always sell it on eBay.

I kept my knickers on and then dressed in drab, before going downstairs to file my nails.

I held the “Essential Beauty” colour cards under my chin. I think I am a Cool Pink. I found it difficult to decided though.

I checked my face shape with the ” Essential Beauty” face shape guide but I am really struggling with this one.

Oval, long oval, heart and square all fit. Only triangle and round are clearly not right. I will read over that section again before I decide but I think long oval will just take it.

“G” also bought some jogging bottom type trousers and they do not fit her. I might try them on for size later.

I have an account at “Miss Groovy”.

I ordered “Tweezerman Automatic Tweezers to keep my bushy brows in check and an “invisible Bra” which is supposed to increase bust buy one cup size. I hope to use the “Invisible Bra” under a normal bra to help fill the cups and create the illusion of breasts under my tops.

First Bra

I have just purchased my first bra from eBay. It is a size 40B cup. I got it for £2.00 plus P&P £1.50. That seems a lot to post a bra, but £3.50 for a bra can’t be too bad.

Call Centre “K”

I had to speak to “K” from our call centre today. She told me she had in a real bad mood and today had been a nightmare. I blew her a few kisses and said there they should be arriving on your cheeks soon that will cheer you up. To which she said I hope they were lipstick kisses. I said sorry but I save the lipstick for the weekend. “K” then said I think you would make a good drag queen actually. If only she knew!

Later in the conversation she asked if I like the music on hold. I said I doubt anyone will be dancing around handbags. Then she asked me if my handbag matches my eye shade. I exclaimed no because I have not bought a handbag yet.

Maybe she does know. I guess its a possibility that the site is known about. Another possibility is that the IT department have snooped on my PC. I have a lotus notes connection on home PC, so I guess it’s possible that they could browse my files when I connect to them for my email. That seem a bit far fetched though.

Maybe my feminine side is more visible than I think.

TK Maxx & Matalan

I have just returned from a shopping trip with “G”. We went to “TK Maxx” in Harlow to get my son “C” a top for his 19th birthday, which is tomorrow.

We went in my van and had to park in a multi-story car park. I drive a Vauxhall Vivaro van which is 1.96 meters high without roof bars. Fortunately I have removed the roof bars and we were able to enter the car park. It was spooky though, the aerial was scraping the roof and from the cab it looked like we were going to smash the ceiling mounted signs. Height clearance is 2.1 meters. Doing the maths we had 5.6 inches clearance, but it did not look like it from the driver seat.

I asked “G” if she would look at the tops as I am still looking for an off the shoulder top. She said okay. We got a top for my son, but they did not have anything that caught my eye for me.

Matalan is next door and “G” has a card for that so we went in there. “G” darted about and found a top and some jogging bottoms that she wanted. I found a sale rail with tops £8.00 each or 2 for £5.00. I selected 2 in different shades. I went to look at a few other tops in another section, I thought she would accompany me but she did not. I browsed for a bit, then got spooked and went to find her. She was looking a trousers.

I bought the lot so “G” is doing quite well out of my shopping. Usually I spend more on her clothes than mine. I still could not find an off the shoulder top but it gives me something to shop for.

Essential Beauty Hunt

3rd, February 2005

I read that issue 2 of “Essential Beauty” was already in the shops yesterday. T-girl “M” on the “ukangels” forum is still trying to get issue 1. So today I had two things to hunt for. I knew my local store in Bishop’s Strortford would not have issue 1 as I grabbed one of the last copies over a week ago.

I had to go to Brightlingsea to work today, so I took the old A120 to Great Dunmow. I could not see either issue there. The customer services desk was left unattended so I gave up and continued my journey.

I got back on to the New A120 bypass and headed to the Braintree store. I quickly located issue 2 and took it along to customer services. I asked them to see if they had any issue 1 magazines left. The girl looked on the PC and after while simply said no.

I paid for issue 2 and the girl asked if I would like her to put it in a bag for me. I declined the offer. I left the shop and strolled back to my van. I got a couple of odd looks walking back to the van, but then I guess it is a bit strange seeing a guy walking along with a beauty magazine.

I set off for the Tesco’s super-store at the magic roundabout in Colchester. I had arranged to meet a colleague (“B”) there for coffee on the way to the site in Brightlingsea where we were both working today. After coffee I told “B” that I had to nip over to customer services. “B” disappeared and I thought he had gone outside. At the help desk I enquired about issue 1, but the girl there did not have a clue and put a public address call out for a colleague to assist. The colleague arrives and I have to explain that I am trying to track down a copy of “Essential Beauty Issue 1″. The colleague was very informative and told me that they had 15 copies delivered and sold out quickly, they were not able to get any more copies because the wholesalers had also sold out.

She suggested issue 2 as they usually have a back order form in subsequent issues.

I said I would have a look in my copy then looked around to find “B” had returned! He naturally asked what it was I was after, so I told him I was looking for issue 1 of “Essential Beauty” as a friend had emailed to say they had not been able to find it.

Okay that was a slight white lie, but explaining that it was someone on a cross-dressing forum that I was looking for was just too much of an explanation.

Angels Link

I have been trying to join the “UKAngels” web ring. The blurb points me to a page where I am supposed to find a banner. I cant find it. I could simply grab it from someone else’s site, but that’s not playing cricket. For now I have just put a link to the site. The blurb does say I won’t be accepted on the web ring without a banner, however loads of the sites listed did not have a banner that I could see.
