At my last electrolysis session I was informed that there was a few tufts of hair that may need more treatment to be totally clear in the area needed for my Gender Reassignment Surgery.
Today this was being evaluated and a second opinion sought from the nurse that works along side the surgeons.
Unfortunately the second opinion was that I should cancel my operation and get a new date for later in the year. Recently some girls in a similar position have developed complications with hair post surgery.

Recently I was invited to attend the inaugural meeting of the LGBT working partnership group which had it’s first meeting today.
A few days ago I was asked to give a speech about meeting the needs of trans people in Hertfordshire. I agreed although I don’t consider myself as an authority on the needs of anyone apart from myself.
I had hoped to spend some time making notes about the needs that I and others may have, but life got busy. So I decided the best I could do was talk from the heart. With trepidation the moment arrived and I rattled off thoughts.
I was pleasantly surprised by the response and requests for my contact details at the end of the event. Someone suggested I charge lots of money and go on tour! Much more important to me was that a trans man at the event said that my talk was good.

This morning I had to visit my GP for my Zoladex Implant. Hopefully this will be the last one as I am due Gender Reassignment Surgery and will no longer require the testosterone blocking treatment.
I said to the GP that the next time he sees me I will be a changed person. His response was that I already was. Aww.

I have to come off the Estradiol today in preparation for my Gender Reassignment Surgery (GRS). Hopefully I will not suffer too many side effects or mood swings, as the hormone level in my blood has never reached the target levels yet!
I have been on Sandrena 3.0 mg Gel Estradiol for several months now. I recently had a blood test in order to check the levels in my blood. Next week to review my dosage which I anticipate will be increased. Unfortunately I will not be able to start the increased dosage until after the GRS.
