New Address

After 3 years on the waiting list we have at last been offered a shoebox sized flat. It overlooks a very noisy skip sorting plant. It is a new build and to us that means yet another year of not being able to decorate or put shelving or pictures. The are many reasons why the property is far from ideal, but it is very close to a train station.
We had no real choice but to take it, we need to be gone from our current address by Febuary and we needed to move nearer to Ware for schooling reasons at a matter of urgancey too.
Somehow we now have to pay for rent at two addresses, buy a cooker, something to sit on, wardrobs, repair two vehicals and get moved before Christmas, but at least we will have a roof over our heads.
